Beloved country, where are you going?

Is it going to be so typical, unsophisticated, uneducated, backward, crude, misinformed and degrading like the clown Malema?

South Africa is fast becoming the number two laughing stock of the world. Where an editorial or political cartoon is usually associated with a political figure or person, one can now begin to visualise a political cartoon assigned to the country as a whole. Only Zimbabwe beats us to the number one position in any editorial political cartoon column. If one bears in mind all the theatrics, antics and mismanagement events by political figures and officials, one can rightly say South Africa is now the number two political cartoon country of the world.

political cartoon lame duck president

This is a shameful position to be branded as a political cartoon country, with the published degrading events over recent years, leading to this laughable image of the country, its political leaders, political parties and Government policies. The inhabitants from all walks of life and outsiders are more and more perceiving the country as a political cartoon to be ashamed of. With the inability of the Government to conquer rising crime, corruption and non-delivery of services, the state of affairs threatens yearly to become worse than the previous year.

This political cartoon perception is underscored by newspaper reports over the recent few years, namely newspaper reports, leading to the political cartoon image, from 2006 up to now. Worldwide newspaper editors and cartoonists can have a field day in a political cartoon country like South Africa.
