The
faster you execute these manoeuvres, the better they will work -
practice makes perfect.
1.
Self-defense in a one-on-one situation without weapons (any
woman can do this):
1.1 Put car keys or other sharp instrument through fingers into a
fist to pierce an eye, nostril or ear (use only if unavoidable).
1.2 Break, damage or injure foot bridge bones by kicking down
hard with the heel of your shoe.
1.3 Denting in the windpipe with stiff knuckles or other hardware
instrument like a portable mirror, can leave a person struggling
for air.
1.4 Spray the face and eyes with aerosol insecticide, oven
cleaner or pepper
spray to cause a severe burning effect to the eyes and throat.
1.5 Kicking very hard in the groin with a foot or knee can have
a severe paralysing effect.
1.6 If you have it nearby and can find the time, use an
electrical shock weapon to paralyse a person. They come in many
forms of stun guns, like a baton, flashlight, cell phone or the
latest disguise in the form of a tampon.
Pink Stinger disguised as tampon
While
most tasers and stun guns are dead giveaways the moment
thieves and other unsavory characters lay eye on them,
chances are they won’t be able to notice that the Pink
Stinger is actually a taser disguised as a tampon, giving
ladies the extra confidence in knowledge that they have an
edge when it comes to the element of surprise. What makes
the Pink Stinger deadly in the arms of a lady under threat
is its ability to dispense up to 50,000 volts of power -
more than enough to disable and disorient your assailant
while you take this window of opportunity and get some help.

1.9 Rapex device:
Quote
from BBC UK:
What is the best way to deal with the escalating rape problem in
South Africa?
According to Interpol, South Africa has the highest rate of rape
in the world. It is estimated that nearly one million, seven
hundred thousand women a year are raped there, but only around
fifty-four thousand cases are reported.
Sonette Ehlers has invented a controversial new device called
the Rapex, which is worn like a tampon and in the event of rape
will attach itself to the perpetrator's penis. However it has
fuelled an angry reaction from women's groups in the country.
Jenni talks to Sonette and also discusses why rape is escalating
in South Africa and what solutions need to be put into place to
protect its women and children.
Quote
from ABC Australia:
Anti-rape device created
An inventor in South Africa has come up with a possible
solution to end the country's unenviable reputation of being
the rape capital of the world.
It is estimated a woman or girl is raped every 26 seconds in
South Africa.
But inventor Sonette Ehlers says women will soon be able to
wear a device which would attach itself to the rapist's
penis by microscopic hooks as he withdraws.
Ms Ehlers says the device is expected to go on sale by the
end of the year.
"The rape device is a condom, it's shaped almost like a
tampon," she said.
"Hollow inside and the inner wall of it is lined, and there
we have got all our technology and little hooks which, upon
forced penetration, will attach to the skin of the
perpetrator and only a medical doctor can remove it.
"He'll have to turn himself in, so he's marked for immediate
identification."
2. People with enough muscle strength can also try the
following:
2.1 Bend and injure or break a finger, toe or wrist
2.2 Finger pressure behind the lower ear with the thumb can have
a paralysing effect
2.3 Hitting hard on the stomach can render someone breathless
2.4 Breaking an arm elbow joint with two techniques
2.5 Immense arm and wrist pressure on the chin from behind a
person
2.6 It is also possible to cause great pain on a person's wrist
bones by applying great pressure with both hands - you can even
break them
2.7 You
can get rid of a person sitting on top of you with a quick roll
action to one side with simultaneous arm and leg pressure
2.8 When
you lie on your back and a person is standing over you between
your legs, you can trip him over with a scissors action of your
legs
2.9
Pinching the tendons on the shoulder between the neck and arm
can have a paralysing effect
2.10
Pinching the tendons behind the heel can have a paralysing
effect
2.11
Pinching the tendons under the arm, near the armpit, on both
sides of the armpit, can have a paralysing effect
2.12 An armpit is also a vulnerable place if you can strike it
hard enough
2.13 A
hard open-hand, closed fingers smack on the ear can burst an ear drum and cause
the ear to bleed
2.14 A
hard open-hand strike with the heel of the hand, upwards on the
chin, can cause the teeth or jaw bone to break
2.15
When someone has you in a stranglehold from behind, with his
arms pinning yours down, bend down fast, grab hold of one of
the legs and pluck the leg forward and upwards between your legs, causing him to loose balance and fall backwards.
3.
Finally, if you do not have enough power to subdue a person, or
suspect you don't (use only if someone's life is at stake):
3.1 Grab something like a pipe, baton, knob stick, hammer or
heavy kitchen utensil and try to break an arm, kneecap, leg,
collar bone, rib or cause concussion to the head.
3.2 A
hard enough blow on a nose can drive the top nose bones into the
brain, which can lead to death or an everlasting, vegetative
state of brain paralysis.
3.3 A
hard and sharp enough blow on the neck can crack or break the
bones with devastating effect.
3.4 A
hard blow with a semi-closed fist or an object to the windpipe,
can dent in the cartilage and cut off the air, so a person can
choke to death, if not corrected quickly.
3.5
Rather stick with a knife or shoot with a firearm if they are
handy nearby, to stay on the safe side.
Once
you have the chance, in your attacker's state of temporary immobility, you
can tie up an attacker's arms and legs with your silk ties or
other handy material and call in the troops.
If
someone attacks with a weapon like a knife or firearm, you
either shoot first or do nothing.
4.
Safeguarding your house and family against gang robberies, rape
and murder:
Quote: Under the cloak of darkness the inhuman cowards will come
in overpowering numbers to invade your privacy with barbarian
brutality.
It is
of course better to be forewarned of an imminent attack, but
which is not always possible. There are, however, a lot of
things you can do to be forewarned on your property, so that you have
a better chance to shoot first and survive. You need expert
advice on a whole set of security measures. Here are a few of
them:
4.1 Let
a professional security service company install an electronic
security alarm system in your house, with strategically placed
emergency alarm buttons and a 24 hour standby service ( for
farmers the nearest alternative).
4.2
Burglar proof your entire house at all windows and entry doors,
including sealing off your bedroom areas from the rest of the
house, with preferably two security doors.
4.3 Hook
up watchdog electronic eyes on the outside, with your internal
alarm system, to warn you of movement around the house.
4.4
Install security fencing around the perimeter of your stand, as
high and as impenetrable as you can afford.
4.5
Install a closed circuit TV monitoring system, with automatic
recording, to do surveillance
of your street pavement and of all areas around and inside the
house from your burglar proofed and locked bedroom.
4.6 Have
your firearms handy nearby in your bedroom, to use when the situation calls for
it.
4.7
Install a communication system with your neighbours in the form
of intercom, radio or cell phones, including the normal land
line numbers.
4.8 Keep
a list of emergency telephone numbers handy in your bedroom.
4.9
Install self-triggering security flood lights on all sides of the house.
4.10 Buy
a
standby self-starting power generator or one where you can relay
the ignition switch from your bedroom, of 5 to 7,5 KVA, in case of power
failure. Remember to make your incoming main switch (earth
leakage) trip first,
so that your generator does not feed the whole neighbourhood.
Rather get expert advice on how to automatically change between
your regular power supplier and your private power generator.
4.11 Put
a night stand table in your bedroom to hold an electric kettle
and utensils, so you do not have to go to the kitchen to make
coffee or tea during the night.
